Vick and I met about a year ago after being introduced to each other by a mutual friend, they had seen my Home Buying 101 classes and wanted to know more. We met over coffee to talk about the process from beginning to end, what to expect, costs associated, and the market. After learning more about them, their goals, and timeline, we decided that it was worth waiting about a year to get everything in order. This worked out perfectly, because it gave us a year to plan and get ready.
At the end of 2024, we met again in person to dive even deeper into the near future of pursuing a home, and to meet their fiancé, Kailie. We were all pretty excited to help make this dream a reality. And so, we looked at houses while the market was slow in January, and by February we knew exactly what we were looking for, and scored a heck of a deal right as the market was kicking into full gear. I have to brag about this home, because it is absolutely perfect for them. The layout, condition, all new major systems, and new roof were just too good to be true.
PS - I will never forget the time we were looking at houses in the middle of winter and rescued a cat! :)
